Server Module(Management Center):

It acts as a bridge between client-app and end user. It has many use-cases, but a few of the use cases are below.

  • Tenant Management: Whenever we have multi-tenancy software, we need a tenant management system because every tenant has their own features and business goals. Few uses one module; others use another module based on the business requirement of the tenant. So, from tenant management system these configurations can be easily managed without impacting the server.
  • Content Management: Every tenant has their own set of content. E.g., Hospital has content related to medicines and medical types of equipment.  Airlines would have content related to airplanes, cargo etc. Through content management admin/ author level user can create, manage, and publish content so that latest published content could be available to the end user.
  • Content Distribution: Every tenant has their own business goals and based on that they have their own set of content that they want it to be distributed to their team or employees. With help of the content distribution system, the admin lever user can manage the content and folders, used to organize the content, and decide how it would be distributed between the group of its end users.
  • Notifications: Notifying the end-user for every event occurred in the system for which they are interested is one of the core parts of the software. It can be done through email, SMS, push notification, etc.
    • User Preferences: User can also set their preferences of notifications e.g., immediate, daily, weekly, none, etc. Notifications manage these configurations based on tenant priorities.
  • Delivery: Delivery ensures that the message that needs to be delivered to the end-user should be delivered properly and in the case of any failure, it can be retried, and details could be sent to analytics accordingly. So that admin level users can analyze data and plan their further strategy for business.
  • Branding: Branding and settings related to tenant assets (e.g., Themes, Colors, Fonts, Templates, Custom Messages etc.) are particularly important while setting the brand in the market.
  • Analytics (and Reporting): Whatever the activity going across the product is analyzed through an analytics graph and reporting tools, which will enable the client(tenant) to make more informed, data-backed decisions, and providing invaluable insight in key business areas, including end user behaviors and trends, Security and risk mitigation, Business productivity and efficiency, Customer personalization.
  • Change Communication: Change is the only constant in life and the same applies to the software development life cycle as well. If there is some change in the content, the end user also needs to be notified. Change communication plays a pivotal role in notifying the end users of the specific content that the authors want their end-users to view. Authors can also verify if the users actually read or acknowledged the communication that they sent, which further improves the content management and communication between the learner and the author.
  • Learning Library: This is the only library for the end-user. Tenants decide what kind of content to what type of user and accordingly those contents will be visible on the board. From here end-users keep themselves updated about the product of the tenant and improve their knowledge and efficiency.
    • TellOthers – Users can notify to other end users.
    • Follows – Users can follow content for further notifications.
    • Favorites – Users can add any content in their favorite list.
    • View – Users can view the Content.
  • Context Sensitive Help: Online performance support materials are most effective when the materials are available to end users quickly and conveniently. It is more convenient and effective, if user has the link from the user’s current location in the application to the relevant topic or work instruction in an online performance support system. Currently product providing context-sensitive help for Oracle E-Business, SAP EP, SAP CRM Web Client, SAP SRM Shopping application, Siebel, PeopleSoft, generic web pages, and applications supported through Help Launchpad.
  • User Management: Where Admin can manage users.
  • User Group Management: Where Admin can manage user groups.
  • Search: There are two types of search capabilities.
    • searching within content in the Editor and
    • searching the document library on the Server.

Both search functions are available from the Editor workspace.

In addition to the basic search functionality, there is a find and replace feature to allow you to easily locate and change text within your content.

  • Language Support: Currently product supports the content in 33 languages.
  • Performance support platform: It provides all the tools you need to help the staff learn more effectively — and retain their knowledge and skills over time.
