We are looking for passionate GCP Data Architects to join our Data & Analytics team to architect and modernize the enterprise data solutions on Google Cloud Platform integrating GCP services and 3rd party data technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead a team of data engineers in designing, developing, testing and deploying high performance data pipelines in GCP.
  • As an architect, work with implementing teams providing subject matter expertise for successfully deploying large scale data solutions in GCP.
  • Analyze and understand Big Data technologies on GCP and lead in architecting data strategies.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Solid experience and understanding of large-scale architecting, solutioning and operationalization of data warehouses, data lakes and analytical platforms in GCP.
  • 3+ years designing and operationalizing large scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of GCP data services in combination with 3rd parties – Databricks Spark, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Apache Airflow, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions etc.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience analyzing, re-architecting and re-platforming on premise data warehouses to data platforms on GCP using GCP / 3RD party services.
  • 3+ years of experience with designing and building production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption using Python / Java / Scala & SQL.
  • Experience in building solution architecture, provision infrastructure, secure and reliable data-centric services and application in GCP.
  • Understanding of end to end data analytics solutions from ingestion through visualization for large-scale, complex data environments.
  • Google Cloud Certified Data Engineer.

  • Automate the data ingress, data quality checks and final table builds.

ETL Application :

  • 3+ years of experience in Java or Python for Data Processing.
  • 3+ years of SQL experience in building data transformations.
  • 3+ years of experience with Unix / Linux including shell scripting.
  • 1+ year of experience in Google Cloud Platform – Composer, BigQuery.

Preferred Qualifications: These are Good to have

  • Experience with Hadoop stack – Spark / Hive / Hbase.

Required Skill Set :

  • Hands on experience with ERWIN Data Modeler and Working on the Enterprise Data Mart.
  • Understanding Metadata Management principles ( Data Dictionary activities ).
  • Hands on experience with Creating the ETL Mapping.
  • Should understand impacts of model changes on databases and to validate that a model supports straight-forward requirements.
  • Hands on experience with 3NF Data Modeling and NORMALIZED schema.
  • Should be able to analyse business requirements to develop data models with minimal oversight.
  • Hands on experience implementing Data Warehouse presentation layer - including design and definition of logical tables, physical sources, columns, aggregation rules.
  • Hands on experience in writing SQL queries, views, and optimization of SQL queries.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of Bill Inmon's Data Modeling Concepts (Logical and Physical) including 3NF, Supertypes, Subtypes, Abstraction, Associative entities / tables.
  • Requires strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have :

  • Knowledge on other Data Modeling tools like Power Designer , Visio , ER studio.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of Ralph Kimball's Data Modeling Concepts including Transaction dimensions, conformed dimensions and facts, slowly changing dimension, multi-Star/ Snowflake Schema Modeling, different types of Fact tables.
  • Implementing a virtual semantic layer (virtual star schema) using views on a multi-tiered normalized Integrated Operational Data Store is a huge plus. 3NF (Relational) Logical and Physical Modeling.

Dev and Senior Developer STIBO for the Digital Merchandising team to focus on developing and implementing STIBO solutions for the ecommerce processes and systems. This person will focus on configuration, custom development, and production support of the Digital Merchandising work stream specifically regarding product information management.

Responsibilities :

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
  • Ability to bring in new solutions and work out new architectural designs/solutions.
  • Create technical design documents, coding, release deployments, adhere to tech standards.
  • Mentor and direct the project team through all phases of the project.

Required Skills/Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree with IT, business, computer science or technical focus preferred.
  • Expert technical skills in software development (Java and/or JavaScript), data and database design, SQL, XML, Linux and Web services.
  • Min 4+ years of STIBO STEP systems configuration, development experience - attribute creation, business rule creation, portal development, integration endpoint configuration and workflow creation.
  • STEP 8. X knowledge strongly preferred.
  • STIBO certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge on PIM architecture, design, and development skills and should be aware of MDM/PIM/DAM best practices and development.

Candidates must have experience in :
